What I-mode does
I-mode turns the editor into a shared workspace. This page explains the ideas you'll meet in the rest of these docs.
Solo mode and I-mode
I-IDE starts in solo mode. The AI in the panel can read your files, create and edit them, and run commands, and nothing is shared with a team.
Turn on the switch in the top-right corner of the I-mode panel to use I-mode, which adds sign-in, sessions and team chat. You can switch back at any time. Your choice is saved as the collab_mode setting.

What stays private
Messages sent to My AI aren't posted to the team chat. Your AI can look up what the team is doing when it needs to, and your teammates see the work it syncs.
Important
What you sync goes through our server. See Security and data.
